Activity Bags for children

CHRISTMAS -  I am making Christmas bags for children for the month of December (not unlike a very small version of Operation Christmas Child), I have Christmas material for the bags and am aiming at making 50 bags at the moment. Any ideas for the contents would be welcome I am thinking of bags with age ranges -
3 years and under,
4-6 years, 7-10 years, 11-13 years.
One volunteer is already knitting Christmas toys.

AUGUST - Harvest donated 120 activity bags for children to Thanet foodlink in August 2020. Volunteers and parents/guardians have told me how much this is valued.
Harvest has donated the bags weekly over of period four months, from May to August, and over this time has donated 555 bags in total. Harvest and Harvest family and friends provided financial support plus donating items for the bags during this time. As the children have now returned to school we have stopped the weekly donations.
I would like to express a huge thank you to Harvest family and friends on behalf of foodlink and the families and myself. It has been a pleasure and privilege for me to put the bags together.

JULY - Harvest donated 140 activity bags for children to Thanet foodlink in July 2020. Volunteers and parents/guardians have told me how much this is valued by parents and children, and by foodlink.
The bags are different from week to week, as families receive food bags more than once.
Week on week, approximately 25% of applications for help from foodlink are from new individuals or families.
We continue to include in the bags - colouring pencils, pencils with erasers, sheets of coloured paper, plain paper, activity sheets. Plus the extras which includes balls, colouring masks, bubbles, bats and ball, outdoor games, cards, , reading books, playdough, stickers, colouring books, paint, soft toys etc.
This has been made possible by the generosity of Harvest and Harvest family and friends. Some providing cash, some knitting toys, making playdough, sewing fabric bags. Others donating coloured paper, glue, sellotape, colouring pencils, paints, balls, bats and balls, bubbles, masks, puzzles, stickers etc. All of which makes it possible to give these bags to struggling families.
A huge thank you and to Harvest family and friends on behalf of foodlink and the families.
The families that receive these bags are very grateful, some receive them with tears in their eyes… gifts they can give to their children.
